Whether you’re a seasoned wine enthusiast or just enjoy discovering new favorites, this is your chance to taste incredible regional wines while exploring the heart of West Seattle.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out for West Seattle’s first-ever Rock Walk this past Friday night! You showed up, sipped, strolled, and supported—and we couldn’t be more grateful.
From the incredible 30+ tasting participants, our amazing small businesses, and our partners in this event, Seattle Uncorked, the night was pure West Seattle magic.
Your participation helps support music programming for Summer Fest and brings even more rhythm to the heart of the Junction. We are already deep into planning for this year’s Summer Fest on July 10-13th and look forward to seeing you all there!

You told us last year—one of the best things about Summer Fest is the music! And guess what? We heard you loud and clear. This year, we’re turning up the volume with an exciting new event: Rock Walk, a fundraiser to enhance the music programming at Summer Fest 2025!
As costs continue to rise and summer weekends fill up with community festivals, we want to ensure West Seattle Summer Fest stays on your calendar as a must-attend event. That’s why we’re bringing you Rock Walk—a night of different tastes from wineries, breweries, cideries and distilleries – with all proceeds supporting live music at Summer Fest.
What is Rock Walk?
Located in the heart of West Seattle Junction, Rock Walk is a dynamic tasting event featuring wine, cider, beer, and spirits.
- 30 businesses will serve as sip stops
- 31 beverage providers (yes, two locations will have double the options!)
- 12 tasting choices per person
- Exclusive perks: Your ticket includes a tasting glass, a tote bag for bottle purchases, a map of all locations, and—of course—our undying gratitude for supporting live music at Summer Fest!

Calling all local artisans, craft makers, and food vendors — West Seattle Summer Fest is back, and we want YOU to be part of it!
For over 40 years, Summer Fest has been the ultimate celebration of summer in West Seattle, drawing 50,000+ attendees for a FREE, three-day festival packed with:
Live music that keeps the streets rocking
Fabulous shopping with unique local vendors
Delicious food & drinks to satisfy every craving
Lively Kids Zone for family-friendly fun
And so much more!
From July 11–13, 2025, The Junction will transform into a bustling hub of energy, creativity, and community spirit. This is your chance to showcase your products, connect with an enthusiastic crowd, and be part of something truly special.
Plus, Summer Fest is a zero-waste event, keeping West Seattle green with reusable drinkware, dishware, and serviceware!

Recycle & Reuse in The Junction! 7 Feb 2025, 7:17 pm
Got stuff that doesn’t belong in your home recycling bin? Bring it to the West Seattle Recycling & Reuse Collection Event on Saturday, March 8, from 9 AM to 12 PM!
Every year, we host this FREE event to help our community responsibly recycle and reuse items that don’t fit in regular curbside pickup. This year, we’re shaking things up—no more long car lines! You’ll park at South Seattle College’s north lot and walk your items to the appropriate trucks. (Heads up: No early or late drop-offs! Trucks leave when full.)
What We’re Accepting:
Foam blocks
Household batteries (no damaged ones)
Fluorescent tubes & bulbs (limit: 4 ft., no broken bulbs)
Small, empty propane camping canisters
Small electronics (TVs, computers, etc.)
Small appliances (non-freon)
Paper for shredding (limit: 4 boxes)
Clothing, accessories, bedding & curtains (good condition)
Home goods & toys
What We CAN’T Take:
Stained, ripped, or worn-out fabrics
Mismatched items (single shoes, etc.)
Furniture
Hazardous or automotive waste
Construction debris
Car seats, mattresses, household garbage, yard waste
