Official WebsiteThe Most Amazing Book 13 Apr 2025, 9:30 am
Skeptics seek to discredit the Bible as a divine revelation. This they do for they are loathe to believe in the existence of a God requiring their obedience, else how can they sin with impunity? Time magazine stated that “Atheists can’t wait to prove the whole thing is a fairy tale.” Their waiting will be futile.
Let them hurl a barrage of vain reasonings against the sacred writings if they must–the Bible will stand unshaken while their humanist darts shatter and fall to the ground.
Furthermore, if the humanists were right in thinking that the Bible is merely a book written by man, void of divine inspiration, they ought to showcase it as the greatest attestation to the power of man! What an amazing book! Perhaps it ought to be their manifesto. Consider what manner of men those writers must have been, for…
The biblical history is accurate–some of which was recorded hundreds of years before the actual events! This includes the foretelling of the fall and rise of empires. What a marvel! How far-sighted can mortal man get?!
The forty writers of this volume lived over a span of about 1,500 years. Despite coming from different times, cultures, and strata of life, their writings are strikingly unified, without contradictions. Have you ever known such a like-minded group of writers? Perhaps there is a special secret here we have yet to discover.
Its humanitarian message has the power to soothe the human heart, spreading love and comfort to all. The writer exhorts us to remember the poor and the widows, go the second mile for others, and love one another–even your enemies! Be forgiving, treat others as you would appreciate being treated. If followed, these teachings, and the many more in the Bible, will produce harmony among mankind. Violence would cease and wars would be no more!
How compassionate, forbearing, and loving the man who penned such ideologies! His writings need to fill the earth! Get this book of man out! And if these excellent precepts were embodied in his living, then behold the man and follow him!
German philosopher, Ludwig Wittgenstein, stated, “If a man could write a book on Ethics which really was a book on Ethics, this book [the Bible] would, with an explosion, destroy all the books in the world.”
If the Bible were to be read through the eyes of one who viewed it simply as the product of mortal man, they ought to marvel at such men. Their cumulative wisdom, knowledge, and understanding is unsurpassed. This group of writers has succeeded in creating the world’s best-selling, most enduring and distributed book, making them worthy of the highest accolade for both literary and humanitarian excellence.
An honest reader must conclude that they wrote under divine inspiration.
I will conclude with the words of Erwin Lutzer: “Perhaps the reason for the Bible’s longevity can be found not in the men who wrote it, but in the God who inspired it.”

The Remaking of American Womanhood 30 Mar 2025, 9:01 am
I GREW UP WATCHING THE Mary Tyler Moore Show, which, Wikipedia states, “helped define a new vision of American womanhood”–the happy, fulfilled, single, career woman. The intro song joyously promised: “You’re going to make it on your own!” Now, decades later, multitudes of women are, in fact, on their own, without a husband and either childless, or raising children without the father in the home. Are they really making it? The loneliness, depression, and emptiness say a resounding NO!
With the backdrop of the women’s liberation movement of the 1960s until now, this “new vision of American womanhood” has, and is, being aggressively promoted. Influenced by both television shows and Hollywood movies, the social landscape has markedly shifted.
If the television is anything, it is a propaganda machine; a tool used for social engineering. “It is simply for entertainment,” some may remonstrate. Back in the 1960s, I naively thought the same. But the trail of repetitive programming (aptly called) reveals the intended agenda.
“Females are encouraged to work outside the home and to exchange their dreams of motherhood and family for the fun-laced pursuits of material items and never-ending good times in the big city. From the TV sitcom
Laverne and Shirley to Elaine on the TV show Seinfeld, the patterning is simple…the female is imprinted with repetitive content that sees them without a family and always as the perpetual single female, chasing their material dreams and good times in the big city centers.”1
“Females are conditioned and socially engineered to be overly sexual, with the death of marriage as the end goal.” The empty promise of liberty has been dashed on the rocks. Conditioned as sexual commodities, noble womanhood has been derailed. Often women find themselves involved in a chain of noncommittal, cheap relationships, with the resultant heartaches.
The Netflix movie, Bad Moms is an example of programming “that inverts everything a female needs to be truly happy, healthy, and to love her life.” Partying, endless self-gratification, and sex are portrayed as the answer to all their dissatisfaction and problems. This sort of repetitive mind conditioning “reinforces changing for the worse, instead of changing for the better as a way to deal with life’s hardships.” Hedonistic pleasure does not secure happiness.
“Women are further conditioned to never be happy with their natural weight, their natural hair color, their natural bodies, their natural hair thickness or length, their current husband or partner, or their status level in life. Once dissatisfied with their real selves, they become vulnerable to this socially engineered depression and low self-esteem.”
There are also objectives directed at the male. TV shows like Seinfeld, Family Guy, The Simpsons, Three’s Company, and Friends model male behaviour that is weak, imbecilic, unmotivated, and unfocused. This beta male programming works hand in hand with the programs for the female. It is obvious that the powers that be are working to steer our entire society.
“Females are the new strength figures in most movies, easily dealing with stronger male adversaries, with superpower strength. From Super Girl in Avengers Infinity War to the never-ending supply of female assassin movies, this agenda is aimed at changing the conventional role of the female out of femininity/motherhood/softness and into more traditional male behavior within our crumbling society. Inching the female closer to this line in the sand can also help push the female more easily into trans-gendering herself into a male on all levels. The end goal of these various agendas is stopping the production of any offspring, or at least to slow it down substantially.”
“Women are born with everything they need, unless they choose to look into the black magic screens that surround them. Our modern tech screens are spell casting devices.”
Non-stop media propaganda has the single female believing she doesn’t need a man, and “the now weakened and absent men can’t protect her” from the mounting dangers in the world, “because of their social engineered weakness.” “Birth rates are plummeting, our children are being destroyed as the female cosmic force is tricked to run away from her natural charge.”
The agenda is quite obvious–the destruction of the nuclear family–which God ordained for both the procreation of mankind and the happiness and well being of both men and women. We are witnessing a defiant attack on God in this continuing battle of good and evil. Sis. S. Mutch

Sanctified Power 23 Mar 2025, 8:51 am
Rockets to space, wireless global communications, artificial intelligence, to name a few things. Mankind has accomplished seemingly godlike achievements! Magical, spiritual, and powerful, because we are Godlike!
In Gen. 1:27-28, we read that man was made in the image of God and was empowered and commissioned to subdue, cultivate, and have dominion over all the earth and every living thing in the earth.
When man rebelled against God, he essentially ran away with the capacities and power God had granted him, giving Satan access to it. He took the God-given power and abused it by animating and empowering a different structure in the world than what God had intended. The scripture calls it the course of the world, or the orderly arrangement or system.
In Genesis 11, God beheld mankind in a unified effort building a tower in rebellion against Him. “And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.”
Unless He divided them, they would be able to achieve anything they imagined to do. Imagine that! What power!
What has this runaway power accomplished? Great things! But it has been tainted and can be a curse. For every forward step in the development and modernization of civilization, it takes us two steps forward in the sophistication and refinement of evil.
The problem is not that power is evil. The problem is when power is rogue power. Disconnected from its original source, it becomes corrupted and perverted, and unimaginably destructive.
This society has been shaped by the individualistic and self-deterministic message of Protestantism, which is the same message of the serpent in the garden, “Ye shall be as gods,” without being in subjection to Almighty God.
You can use your God-like power to build your own kingdom. You can choose how your power is used. It is your power after all.
The “Christian” world has bought into this doctrine wholeheartedly. I can be a Christian and choose what I will do with my life, my talents, my business, my money, MY power.
The truth is that we have been given the power of choice. We can choose how we will use our power. But we do not have the choice of being a Christian and controlling our own power. It is impossible for our power to be independent from God without it being corrupted and, ultimately, wasted.
“Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power.” Psalm 110:3.
There are a number of prophecies that foretell of a great manifestation of the power and glory of God in the earth near the end of time, such as has never been before (Revelation 16:17-18). A great enlightenment! For this, the Christian world waits, while each individual retains control of his own power.
The truth is, that the day of the revelation of God’s power is not disconnected from His people. “Thy people shall be willing.” This willingness is not an offering of some resources such as time or money. It is a living sacrifice of one’s entire being and potential to God–mind, body and spirit; a full surrender of all of one’s will and capacities.
God’s glory will be revealed simultaneously with the surrender of our collective power as Christians to God: with the unifying of the power of all believers into one effort. If God saw that the unification of rogue power in building the tower of Babel was limitless, how much greater is the full surrender and unification of the power of them that truly love God!
Herein lies the difficulty. How can our power truly be given to God and unified with the power of all His children? God has built a framework, a government, and dwelling place for His power: a location where we can bring our power to surrender it to God.
“And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that aught of the things which he possessed was his own.” Acts 4:32.
It is no accident that the church in Acts saw a great outpouring of the power of God. They were a people willing to surrender to God all of their ransomed powers, and all they owned, even their very lives. Christian, can we do less?

The Pursuit of Beauty 16 Mar 2025, 8:20 am
Throughout history, the lives of women have undergone significant changes. So radical are these changes, that in many ways the modern woman has little in common with her female ancestors. No longer are we washing our laundry at the riverside or carrying water home from the wells or relying on manual appliances in the kitchen.
But the differences encompass far more than the technological advancements that have changed our lives. Society as a whole, and a woman’s place in it, has drastically evolved through time. But regardless of how momentous the change has been in the lives of women, one thing has remained predictably the same throughout.
Women of all ages, and throughout all of history, have longed to be beautiful and desired. The pursuit of beauty is at the root of a girl’s heart. Little girls are uninhibited in their longing to be admired. Twirling in their skirts, expectant eyes beaming, they openly ask, “Am I pretty?” And although this unconcealed desire to be beautiful and attractive becomes more disguised with age, deep in the heart of every woman, the longing to be deemed beautiful is never extinguished.
The pursuit of beauty has led to an abundant number of beautification methods. These methods are often extreme. Feet binding, eating arsenic, wearing dimple-making devices, applying radioactive lotion, and tattooing or piercing the face and body are only a few of the ways women have attempted to achieve a society’s standard of beauty in the past. But today’s beautification methods are no less extreme. Today, not only are we willing to go under the knife, receive routine injections, or implant foreign objects into our bodies in an attempt to reach society’s beauty standards, but we now feel the need to use AI to enhance our looks by using a variety of beauty filters. It seems as though women will go to any lengths to achieve the goal of beauty.
But the willingness to undergo such drastic measures to achieve beauty does not stem from the innocent, God-given desire to be beautiful. Rather, this willingness comes from an intense pressure from society to fit the current ideal. Women face an inordinate amount of pressure to achieve a certain, specific look to be considered desirable.
One of the problems with the attempt to fulfill a society’s standard of beauty is the fact that the sought-for look is ever changing. While some women have longed for paler skin, others have laid under UVA radiation to achieve a tanned skin tone. Once, the ideal woman was plump, with wide hips and small breasts. This is in stark contrast to the beauty standards of more recent years. The “in” make-up techniques–hair colours, eyebrow shapes, not to mention clothing and accessory fashions–are also constantly changing. The result is a world of women who are endlessly and painfully pursuing beauty as elusively as if pursuing the proverbial carrot on a stick.
The pressure to achieve the current benchmark of beauty is so intense that the world is surprised when a woman is able to resist its influence. Pamela Anderson’s recent decision to make appearances sans make-up is an example of this. The fact that she is appearing in public as her authentic self has made international headlines. How strange to live in a world where presenting oneself without a cosmetically enhanced face is seen as an extraordinary act of courage!
Sadly, this pressure to conform to a specific ideal of beauty goes far beyond only achieving a certain physical look. The beauty ideal also exerts pressure on today’s women to be publicly sensual, sexy, and downright lewd at times. Although couched in feel-good messages about free expression and women’s liberty, attaining this “freedom” has unfortunately resulted in women becoming mere objects of sexual pleasure, robbed of their God-given dignity and honour. In reality, this illusory beauty presented to us as the ideal has little to no semblance to true beauty.
While many have heard it said “beauty is pain,” true beauty does not require its possessor to subject himself to painful or toxic procedures to attain it. It does not require its owner to be exploited and objectified in order to secure it. True beauty encompasses so much more than achieving certain physical traits or measurements.
Attempting to achieve society’s criteria of beauty leaves its pursuers anxious, devalued, and ever afraid of losing the race to age. In contrast, true and authentic beauty engenders honour, respect, and serenity to both its possessor and its beholder. What’s more, true beauty transcends age.
The Scriptures exhort women to be discreet, chaste, and modest (Titus 2:5; 1 Timothy 2:9). Many might feel that such exhortation is oppressive to women, stifling a woman’s self-expression and sexuality. Nothing could be further from the truth. Rather, modesty elevates the ability for a woman to express her full and authentic self, without being limited and restricted to being a mere object of sexual enjoyment. Being discreet and chaste in no way obstructs her ability to express her God-given sexuality. Rather, it enables her sexuality to be expressed freely in the safe, non-exploitative, and uninhibited presence of a loving husband. Indeed, the Bible’s ideal of a beautiful woman is the standard that truly enables a woman to reach the fullest expression of her God-given beauty.
It is difficult to express the feeling of finding such wholesome beauty after being surrounded and immersed with fake, plastic, and unnatural imitations of beauty. It might be akin to enjoying a deep breath of fresh air, or sinking into an embrace at the end of a long, stressful day. Or the feeling of returning home after a lengthy absence. It is the feeling perhaps best expressed with a heartfelt, “Ah! This, this is how it’s supposed to be.” Such is the feeling of coming in the presence of true, authentic, and noble beauty.
Even more difficult is attempting to describe the feeling of liberty when one stops chasing society’s unachievable, ever changing beauty ideal in exchange for the pure, modest, and honourable beauty given to us by God. Once exchanged, the difference is striking. No longer does a woman feel as if she is merely perceived as an object of lustful pleasure, but she finds herself treated with dignity, respect, and wholesome admiration.
Oh, that every woman would find liberty from the oppressive rat race that is the pursuit of society’s standard of beauty! It is time we stop telling the precious girls of today that they’re beautiful just the way they are, while plastering ourselves with cosmetics and undergoing the plethora of beautification procedures in the attempt to achieve an unreachable criterion of beauty. It is time for this world to see an army of women rise up in demonstration of what it is to be truly feminine and beautiful in all our modest and virtuous glory!

Are these people men or beasts? 9 Mar 2025, 9:55 am
Our enemy hates human life. And his followers do, too. They try to be crafty and hide their sordid bloodlust behind camouflaged cloaks of pretend compassion and false concern. For the health and well-being of the mother, they say. A woman has a right to choose what happens to her body! Women’s health care is a basic human right!
Codebreakers on the battlefield have long understood the true meaning and intent of these types of intercepts, and it doesn’t bode well for the babies and children on the fields of Armageddon. Come with us as we explore the assaults on human life at various theaters along the front line.
Be Careful What You Pray For
Our first stop is Scotland, that once brave and proud land that stared down popes and threw down idols in the fires of reformation for the good of Christ’s holy Kirk, only now to erect shrines to the modern Moloch, for in Scotland, the abortion clinic reigns supreme. One dare not touch its sacred cow, or encroach upon its unholy precincts–even within the privacy of your own home.
Last fall, Scotland enacted the Abortions Services (Safe Access Zones) Act. “Under the act,” The Christian Institute reports, “people risk an unlimited fine for handing out pro-life literature within 200 meters of a centre, speaking to anyone about abortion, or praying silently.” This includes conduct in one’s own home, if the home falls within the sacred perimeter outlined by law.
According to The Christian Post, “A letter sent to residents in an Edinburgh zone stated: “Activities in a private place (such as a house) within the area between the protected premises and the boundary of a zone could be an offense if they can be seen or heard within the zone and are done intentionally or recklessly.” Private prayer in one’s own home may amount to breaking the law!
Does anyone know of a type of prayer that is unintentional? What have we come to when even the posture of prayer in one’s flower garden can be viewed as a threat to the staff and patrons at the abortion shrine 199 meters down the street? Because, hell forbid anything but tranquility to prevail upon the already troubled consciences of women who abort their babies!
Such legislation is not unique to Scotland, but is now endemic to every country within the UK.
Rock, Paper, Scissors, Persons!
Next, let us journey to beautiful New Zealand, home of Mount Taranaki and millions of other legal persons. That’s right! Mount Taranaki (now to be known as Taranaki Maunga), that enormous hunk of rock, has been granted legal personhood by act of Parliament. This means it has all the rights of a human being. It is all on paper, so it is official. The law was passed in response to lobbying by the Maori, indigenous peoples of New Zealand. In a speech to Parliament, lawmaker Paul Goldsmith explained, “The mountain has long been an honored ancestor, a source of physical, cultural, and spiritual sustenance and a final resting place” for the Maori.
LIFESITE News reports that New Zealand has also previously given personhood rights to a river and a piece of land.
Such a generous consideration by all good and conscientious Kiwis, we are sure! And we would think that, with such magnanimity, they would protect all human life with personhood. But we would be sadly mistaken. The unborn are deemed unworthy of such accommodation.
Abortion laws in New Zealand were updated in 2020 to allow for termination of pregnancy for any reason up to 20 weeks. For 20 weeks and above, at least two “qualified” health practitioners must agree that the abortion is “clinically appropriate.” These changes were made to cut through the red tape and “reduce barriers to accessing abortion services,” according to the Ministry of Health, which obviously wields some mighty big scissors–in more ways than one.
So, Kiwi lawmakers signed the paper that covered a rock. Scissors would normally cut paper, but who wants that? Rock trumps scissors, after all. And scissors are useful for cutting other living things. They dare not call them persons.
A Killing Garden (State)
Our last stop is New Jersey, USA, where Governor Phil Murphy is requesting an additional $2 million for the state budget to “help recruit obstetricians, gynecologists, and other providers of women’s health care.” This, per NJ.com. Codebreakers were on the alert. But they needn’t have been, for the Garden State governor minced no words when he plainly stated, “I will certainly never back down from defending women and protecting their access to reproductive health care, and especially, their right to an abortion.”
The cat was out of the bag. (But this is an unfair analogy. Felines love their kittens.)
New Jersey is hoping to capitalize on the exodus of abortion providers fleeing states where abortion bans and restrictions passed after the 2022 overturning of Roe vs. Wade have made their murderous practices onerous or practically impossible. The additional funding would be used to attract such providers by helping with moving costs and loan forgiveness programs. Abortion providers, you see, must kill. It is their nature. They cannot simply move on to more gainful employment.
The dog can’t help but return to his vomit. (Again, another unfair analogy. Have you ever seen a canine’s care for her little ones?)
These horrors have witnesses of the battle asking, “Are these people men or beasts?” Well, you can always tell a beast from a human in the environs of Armageddon. Beasts have more regard for their offspring, born and unborn. They are your judges, O ye wicked hordes!

The Standard Bearer 23 Feb 2025, 9:55 am
CORRUPTION IS RAMPANT. FREEDOMS are abused. Information is twisted, and it is simply hard to know whom to believe anymore. The government is in confusion. Who is a hypocrite and whom can I trust? We’ve got to do something about this madness! Perhaps it’s time to hold a rally.
But when we get to the rally, we seem to have another problem. Not everyone at the rally even agrees. We want to stand up against our oppressors. We want to show our support for humanity. But one person thinks the solution is not wearing masks, and another doesn’t feel safe coming together without masks. One says Mr. Trump could have solved our woes had he become president. Another says Mr. Trump is racist and belligerent. Some support the police, while others hurl insults at them. A group of people storm the white house, and the whole assembly is labeled insurrectionist and brutal even though the majority probably did not agree with the violence. How are we to fight injustice with such a confused army?
One is reminded of the men who assembled to David at the cave of Adullam to escape the oppression of Saul. Scripture tells us, “And every one that was in distress, and every one that was in debt, and every one that was discontented, gathered themselves unto him; and he became a captain over them: and there were with him about four hundred men” (1 Sam. 22:2). Hardly could there have assembled a more motley crew. “Everyone in distress” could have included almost anyone. We are not told what distressed these men. They were rough men, and no doubt men of opinion. They had gone through a variety of life experiences and probably had a variety of responses. What was it that held them together? It doesn’t seem like their good background or their congenial dispositions gave them common ground. They had basically two things in common–debt and David. Whatever their struggles were, they had confidence in David. And it was in David they found their unity. They rallied around him and became an invincible band because they had a common leader. You cannot have a rally without a rallying point.
David was not the only man in history who successfully rallied an army in victory over their oppressors. One thinks of the people of Israel, enslaved and depopulated by a wicked Pharaoh. “And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God had respect unto them. Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law…And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush.” (Exo. 2:24-3:2). A groaning people, an embittered cry–here we find the same elements expressed in David’s men. And what was God’s first move? He prepared them a leader. It was Moses who faced Pharaoh for them and administered God’s plagues of justice, embarrassing the gods of Egypt. It was Moses who brought them out of Egypt and guided them through the sea. It was Moses to whom, hungry and thirsty, they complained until his rod brought them water from a rock. It was Moses’ uplifted hands which raised the standard that brought them victory in battle. And it was Moses, when the people were plagued by fiery serpents, who held up a serpent on a pole to which they could lift their eyes and find relief.
Years later, Nicodemus knew and loved Moses but was disillusioned by the hypocrisy of those who claimed to represent him. Pointing back to Moses, Jesus drew a line to Himself, showing Nicodemus that there was a living standard bearer in his day. “As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness,” Jesus declared, “even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life: (John 3:14-16). God so loved the world, that He gave them a rallying point–a point of belief through whom they could be linked to heaven. Whosoever believed on God’s given standard bearer could be saved.
The world is now engulfed in turmoil unlike any we have heretofore known. The silencing of the gospel message for a time has produced a division and unbelief perhaps never equalled in other ages. There has been no shepherd worth trusting, and the flock of humanity is scattered to its own devices, easy prey to every wolf, political or otherwise. No restoration, no gathering of the flock, is possible until there be a restoration of true leaders. Our salvation–like the salvation of Nicodemus and the salvation of the people pursued by fiery serpents–must come by turning our eyes toward that rallying standard whom God will provide.
People are sometimes disparaged for being sheep–the fact is we cannot entirely avoid being sheep. There is danger in being a sheep if you blindly follow a wolf. There is no danger in a sheep following a true shepherd. As Moses lifted up a standard in the wilderness, and as the uplifted Christ has rallied men through time, God has assured us that He will not leave us without a place to lift our eyes in the day of trouble. “When the enemy shall come in like a flood,” He promised, “the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him” (Isaiah 59:19). For us too then, there is a rallying standard–and where there is a standard lifted, there is always a standard bearer. As flies rally to a light source, so the honest in heart will rally to truth. And prophecy tells us from where that truth will come: “Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined” (Psalm 50:2).
Together we stand. But how shall we stand together without a common belief to stand on; and how shall we believe without a preacher? All the political platforms we know have failed us. They are part of the broken system, and they themselves are silencing men who speak the truth. We need a different platform than republican or democrat, conservative, liberal, or independent. We need a prophet. We need a standard bearer who can define and hold up the truth for the entire world in a followable, trustworthy way. Before God could bring the Israelites up from Egypt, He took the time to train Moses. And again, at this junction of crises, He has prepared true leaders after His own heart to whom the people can turn and find deliverance.

Whom God Blesses Man Cannot Curse! 16 Feb 2025, 8:34 am
Recently, my son and I attended a particular gathering. Walking back to our parking spot, we heard someone nearby yell out, “I hope you die!” It was an intended curse, albeit, utterly powerless.
The pronouncing of curses on God’s people is not a new practice. King Balak was driven by this desire as he sent messengers to Balaam, urging him to come to curse Israel (Numbers 22-24). After Balaam’s perverse path to meet King Balak, he was taken to a panoramic view of God’s people. How electric the moment when he opened his mouth to pour forth what God had put in there, not a curse, but a blessing: “How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed? Or how shall I defy, whom the Lord hath not defied?” The king, greatly distressed that the expected curse had turned into a blessing, took Balaam to another place that he might curse Israel from there. However, just as before, instead of the awaited curse, another beautiful blessing was pronounced. How could it be otherwise? The sovereign God had determined to bless His people, and Balaam, himself, testified that he had no choice in the matter: “I have received commandment to bless and HE has blessed and I cannot reverse it.” In exasperation, the king entreated Balaam to “neither curse them at all, nor bless them at all.” Preposterous! It was too late to make a deal. God had declared Israel blessed and the blessing was irreversible.
Now the king should have known better than to take Balaam to yet a third site from which to curse the children of Israel. He should have understood by now that whomever God blesses, man cannot curse. “But fools despise wisdom and instruction” (Proverbs 1:7); thus, this fool pressed on to extort, if it were possible, from this last scene, a curse upon his enemies. God, sitting in heaven, may have been laughing (Psalm 2:4), as with timid expectancy King Balak hoped against hope to hear the utterance of a curse. We pause to take in the moment as Balaam “lifted up his eyes and saw Israel abiding in his tents according to their tribes,” and then exclaimed exaltingly: “How goodly are thy tents, O Jacob, and thy tabernacles, O Israel!” Is it not glorious that three futile attempts to extract a curse on God’s people, precisely occasioned three special outpourings of blessings upon them! There was nothing else left for King Balak to do but to smite his hands together in anger and send Balaam home.
King Balak is not around anymore, but there are other kings of the earth in our day “taking counsel against the Lord and His anointed” (Psalm 2:2). Our local congregation in Aylmer, Ontario, has been under attack with fines, court summons, door egging, sign smashing, and recently, being locked out of our meeting house. Without doubt, the adversary had meant these things for evil, but the Lord knew how to turn them for good. The church has consequently experienced a great influx in attendance and has thereby become the joy, hope, and comfort of many souls. Not only are her opposers forced to acknowledge that God is blessing, but that they have actually assisted God in the work.
“God hath put it in their hearts to fulfill His will” –an astounding statement (Revelation 17:17)! Oh, these haughty kings of the earth who think that they are in control and that they can place all kinds of restrictions on others! They know not how restricted they are themselves! They do not even have power over their own hearts! As one preacher depicted, God has their hearts lying open before Him, and at His will He drops into these hearts specific plans, plots, and pursuits that must be fulfilled. The same preacher expounded on God’s hook (Isaiah 37:29), showing how Pharaoh was hooked in his nose and bridled in his lips as he was made to chase after the fleeing Israelites, that he might find his destruction in the waves of the Red Sea. In like manner, those that rage against God and curse His people today, may suddenly find themselves running in a direction they would rather not go; yea, they may find the curse boomeranging on them! Indeed, God’s adversaries are in a deadly position.
It is God’s irreversible purpose to bless His church, especially now at the end of time. In the book of Revelation, He has already declared the church’s triumphant outcome in her fierce battle against the wicked system of this world. “Hath He said, and shall He not do it? or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good?” (Numbers 23:19). The blessing has been pronounced! “The beloved city” will overcome!
Church of God, take courage! “No weapon [and no curse] that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord” (Isaiah 54:17).

Pray for the Ministry 9 Feb 2025, 9:05 am
“Brethren, pray for us.” 1 Thess. 5:25
We refresh the reader’s memory upon the subject of prayer for ministers, and we do most earnestly implore every Christian household to grant the fervent request of the text first uttered by an apostle and now repeated by us.
Brethren, our work is solemnly momentous, involving weal or woe to thousands; we treat with souls for God on eternal business, and our word is either a savour of life unto life, or of death unto death. A very heavy responsibility rests upon us, and it will be no small mercy if at the last we be found clear of the blood of all men.
As officers in Christ’s army, we are the especial mark of the enmity of men and devils. They watch for our halting and labour to take us by the heels. Our sacred calling involves us in temptations from which you are exempt. Above all, it too often draws us away from our personal enjoyment of truth into a ministerial and official consideration of it. We meet with many knotty cases, and our wits are at a non plus; we observe very sad backslidings, and our hearts are wounded; we see millions perishing, and our spirits sink. We wish to profit you by our preaching; we desire to be a blessing to your children; we long to be useful both to saints and sinners. Therefore, dear friends, intercede for us with our God.
Miserable men are we if we miss the aid of your prayers, but happy are we if we live in your supplications. You do not look to us but to our Master for spiritual blessings, and yet how many times has He given those blessings through His ministers. Ask then, again and again, that we may be the earthen vessels into which the Lord may put the treasure of the gospel. We, the whole company of missionaries, ministers, and students, do in the name of Jesus beseech you…“Brethren, pray for us.”
From Morning and Evening
Brethren, Pray For Us!
Finally, Brethren, pray for us
On whom the burden weighs,
End-time gospel to disperse,
We must now go our ways!
We need you, brethren, pray for us,
Cease not to intercede!
Christ’s embassage is in our trust,
And in His stead we plead.
We urge you, brethren – Pray for us!
How solemn Christ’s command:
“Instruct all nations, reconcile –
‘Twixt dead and living stand!”
Please pray for us! The mystery’s done,
The scroll of Time unfurled.
That Great Day hastes upon us, when,
With Him we’ll judge the world!

God is Laughing 2 Feb 2025, 9:24 am
“The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.” Psalm 2:2
Today we find ourselves in a world that is swiftly and, by design, spiraling into darkness–a darkness vastly deeper than that of the dark ages, a darkness strategically created with a purpose.
The governments of this world, their financial institutions, judicial systems, educational systems, scientific community, major industries, healthcare systems, entertainment, and mainstream media outlets have all been monopolized, bought out and brought under the control of a small, extremely wealthy elite group of families and self-made kings. This group of powerful men, though unfathomably rich, are not merely driven by the greed for more monetary wealth, but by an evil lust to be as God and to heap to themselves that which is not theirs‑– “the bodies and souls of men.”
In gaining control of the money and the media, they have gained control of the governments and the resources. In turn, they are able to gain control of the masses. Their ultimate sinister purpose is to gain control of all the peoples of the world–body, mind, and soul–to control nature itself, to exalt their throne above the stars of God, to be like the Most High and to sit as God.
They are haters of God who have studied, taken counsel together, and made it their life’s work to dethrone God, and to set themselves in His seat to be the governors of the universe and the givers of life and death, bondage or freedom, sickness and health, cause and cure. They are operating in the very spirit of the serpent in Genesis, who challenged God’s Word, setting himself and his word in opposition and competition to God in an effort to steal the faith of humanity, which belongs to God. These men have labored intensely to break God’s bands and cords, and His laws, that they might impose their own bands and cords.
Through their conspiracies, taking counsel together–Davos group, Bilderberg meetings, G7-G20 meetings, United Nations assemblies, etc.–we are seeing the swift rise of a global consolidation of control into their hands. Using a pretense of care for humanity, they are rapidly loosing humanity from the moorings that make us essentially human.
We are experiencing the greatest tyrannical, satanic take over the world has ever seen. By corrupt media and evil legislation, under the false guise of a pandemic and saving the environment, we see God-given human liberties being stripped at a rapid pace.
The dehumanizing of mankind, the twisting of science to justify the murder of the innocents, the fluidity of gender, the destruction of the family unit, the sexualization of children, and many more such evils have been a feat of social engineering and playing God. The intent is to leave humanity on a dark, shoreless sea without a compass, anchor, sun, moon, or stars, to create a world cut off from the light, disconnected from its foundations and landmarks, helpless and at their mercy, that they might be the light, the saviours; that they might offer the solution and be God.
At the present moment, they are reaching for the prize of their evil fantasies–total control of the human existence, to sit unchallenged on the throne of God Himself.
Returning to the verse preceding our text in Psalms chap. 2:1, the writer begs the question, “Why do the heathen rage and the people imagine a vain thing?” Ah, is it not a vain and foolish thing to assume the throne of God!
“He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: The Lord shall have them in derision.” Psalm 2:4. Oh dear reader, God is still on His throne, unchallenged and untouched, and He is laughing in derision that these feeble humans, who are mere worms in His sight, might devise to take His seat! May every God-fearing man join in the laughter! Professing to be wise, they became fools–fools to the ultimate degree! Gold medal winners of foolhood!
The scripture continues with the promise that God would vex them in His wrath and displeasure. He tells us that He has already set up His king on His holy hill of Zion, and that He would break them with a rod of iron and dash them in pieces as a potter’s vessel. He closes the chapter with words of wisdom and instruction to the judges and kings of the earth. “SERVE THE LORD WITH FEAR, rejoice with trembling. KISS THE SON (the true King of kings whom he has set on his holy hill) lest he be angry and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little.”
It seems that the prized possession of the kings of this world is almost within their grasp–yet it is not so! They have failed to calculate God and His church into the equation. The one fact that will cause all their castles to crumble is that God does exist. He has a people and a kingdom on this earth, and that Truth cannot be buried forever. They have failed to consider the prophecy, that at evening time it shall be light, and that mount Zion should be established. No matter the counsels, lying scientists, technology, wealth, military might, etc., they will not stop the light that is already breaking through!
And He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh!
