The first session is ladies tea-time. The highlight product is “The Exquisite Embroidery Sculpture”, a limited series of 300. The product details are a porcelain flower petals, handmade one by one, to compose the delicate embroidery of the dress in this creation. This is part of the Haute Allure collection. It is a women’s fashion line of limited-edition pieces. They show the delicacy of handcrafted porcelain. The second session is Gentleman Gathering theme. It will feature a highlighted product “The Batman Sculpture”, a limited series of 500. This piece, handcrafted in Lladró’s workshops in Valencia, meticulously portrays the iconic superhero who relies on his superior intellect and technology to combat crime. Inspired by bats to design his famous costume, Batman wears a cape mimicking bat wings, a mask covering most of his face, and the bat symbol on his chest, along with sophisticated gadgets like his famous utility belt.

Lladró unveils a limited edition of Batman for the 85th anniversary of DC’s mythical superhero 31 May 2024, 4:34 am

April 2024_ Lladró, the Spanish high craft porcelain brand, unveils its first interpretation of Batman to coincide with the 85th anniversary of the legendary superhero. Thanks to a collaboration agreement between Lladró and Warner Bros-Discovery Global Consumer Products, Gotham City’s mythical caped crusader, who made his debut in Detective Comics in 1939, is now available in the market in a limited edition of 500 units. The Dark Knight, alter ego of the multimillionaire Bruce Wayne who turns into the protector of Gotham City at night, is the focus of this new Lladró creation.

This version of Batman, handcrafted at the Lladró workshops in Valencia, recreates in minute detail the iconic superhero who trusts in his superior intellect and in technology to fight crime. Inspired by bats to create his famous costume, Batman wears a cape imitating bat wings, a mask that covers most of his face and the bat symbol on his chest, as well as sophisticated gadgets, like his famous utility belt.

Batman in black matte porcelain stands out for the precision of the sculptural work and the decoration combining glazed and matte finishes in black with touches of golden luster. Batman captures the dynamism of the character, with his cape blowing in the wind as he perches on one of the iconic gargoyles of the roofs of Gotham City, about to jump into action in defense of justice. One of the most emblematic superheroes of all-time is now introduced by Lladró in a limited edition of 500 units, ready to conquer the hearts not just of Batman fans but also of countless lovers of icons of popular culture.

Handcrafted Process

Batman is the work of the sculptor Eva Cuerva, the artist behind, among others, creations from the Star Wars by Lladró collection, such as Amidala or Ahsoka Tano. Like the rest of the brand’s creations, Batman is made following a unique entirely handcrafted process.
