Role and Responsibilities
Over the course of a project, the Project Manager will need to communicate with staff and clients, make decisions and monitor the progress of the project to keep it on schedule. Important responsibilities for a Project Manager include:
- Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
- Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them
- Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
- Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
- Communicating with executives or the board to keep the project aligned with their goals
- Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
- Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- 3+ years of industry experience
- Experience with Comsense, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, OneNote), SmartSheet
- Detail Orientated / Ability to Multi-Task
- Time Management

- Review construction documents and understand scope of work, contractual obligations, Division 8 specifications, and construction schedules.
- Review returned quotes from manufactures for complete and correct pricing and construction.
- Determine which manufacturer meets or exceeds specifications for the best price.
- Work with manufacturers to get best pricing available.
- Update costs and products into Comsense based on opening.
- Provide technical assistance to project managers, sales and purchasing staff.
- Any other special projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- 3+ years of industry experience
- Experience with Comsense, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, OneNote), SmartSheet
- Detail Orientated / Ability to Multi-Task
- Time Management

- Accurately complete take-offs of wood products from construction documents and enter or submit quotes for pricing.
- Review returned quotes from manufactures for complete and correct pricing and construction.
- Determine which manufacturer meets or exceeds specifications for the best price.
- Work with manufacturers to get best pricing available.
- Update costs and products into Comsense based on opening.
- Order (direct entry or paper entry) wood products from purchase orders received from project managers.
- Review returned order acknowledgements for complete and correct pricing and construction.
- Address any pricing or construction variances from detailing to order writing.
- Provide technical assistance to project managers, sales and purchasing staff.
- Any other special projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- 3+ years of industry experience
- Experience with Comsense, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, OneNote), SmartSheet
- Detail Orientated / Ability to Multi-Task
