Restivo’s Awarded Top Honor in 2021 Projo Reader’s Choice Awards 30 Sep 2021, 1:12 pm
Johnston, RI (September 30, 2021) — Restivo’s has once again earned top honors in the Best Heating & AC category in the Providence Journal Reader’s Choice Awards. Restivo’s also earned second place in the Home Contractor Repair/Remodeling category.
“We are very proud to say that with everybody’s input and hard work, Restivo’s Heating & Air Conditioning is the winner of The Providence Journal Readers’ choice for (Best Heating and AC Service Contractor) for home services,” said owner Jack Restivo. “This was the category that we really wanted to bring home this year and we did it. We also finished in 2nd place in the (home contractor repair/remodeling) category, which is quite an honor.”
The Reader’s Choice awards celebrate and recognize the best our community has to offer, according to The Providence Journal.
Jack continued, “We want to thank everyone that voted for us, especially those of you that did it on a daily basis. Ductless Air Conditioning Cleaning: Behind the Scenes 5 Sep 2020, 6:12 pm
Here at Restivo’s we deliver a top-notch experience when installing new equipment, but we also know that the work does not end there. Heating and cooling infrastructure needs yearly maintenance to prevent buildup of dust, mold and other debris. If not cleaned, the units will eventually start to have performance deterioration and possible failure.
One of our service gurus, Curtis, has come up with a new system for cleaning ductless/mini split air conditioners. He recently visited a customer in Wakefield, Rhode Island to perform a cleaning on their unit. This particular unit was installed 5 years ago by another company and has not been cleaned since. When Curtis inspected it, he found mold on the interior fan blades. He was able to thoroughly clean the unit and remove all of the mold, which will help the unit run much more efficiently while also eliminating mold spores from being spread through the air.

Restivo’s is excited to announce that we have added solar panels on the roof of our Johnston, Rhode Island showroom. These panels will supply all the power we need at our showroom. We are excited about this major step in going green(er), that will have positive implications for the environment for years to come.
