What Sneakers are Releasing in 2024? Release Dates, Rumours, Exclusive Drops, and more. 26 Jan 2024, 5:59 pm

Get ready, Sneakerheads! This years sneaker calendar is already filling up with some absolute heat. At a time where every penny counts, sneaker giants like Nike, Adidas, New Balance, Asics etc are making it very tough to resist the temptation to spend. From iconic retros to hype collaborations, join us as we delve into the most anticipated sneaker releases of 2024.

Action Bronson x New Balance 1906R

Expected to release around April/May 2024, Action Bronson has 3 upcoming colourways of the New Balance 1906R. “Medusa Azul” (blue), “Scorpius” (orange/yellow), and “Rosewater” (white/pink). For New Balance enthusiasts and fans of the rapper, these pairs will be a special addition to the collection. According to Action Bronson himself, the “Scorpius” pair will be the most limited. Air Jordan 4 ‘Bred Reimagined‘

Nike have given the iconic Jordan 4 “Bred” a leather makeover and Sneakerheads across the globe are going crazy about it! Fans of the OG colourway have mixed feelings about this release. Some say the pair are exactly what they have been waiting for, as the black nubuck on the OG pair is a magnet for dust. Whereas others feel the Bred 4 didn’t need a ‘reimagined’ take. Whether you’re a fan or not, this pair are one of the most talked about upcoming releases for 2024 so far. Expected release date is 17th February 2024. You can check out an exclusive in hand and on foot preview from Seth Fowler in the YouTube video below.

Air Jordan 4 ‘Military/Industrial Blue’

35 years after it’s initial release in 1989, the Jordan 4 “Military Blue” makes a comeback for 2024. This is a very special release for the Jordanheads, as the iconic colourway returns with the OG “Nike Air” branding on the heel tab. Making this retro the closest we’ve ever got to the OG release. This pair are expected to drop on 27th April 2024. However, recent images have emerged (as seen above) of the pair which show the blue as slightly darker than the OG “Military”, (reminding us of the “Motorsport” 4s) and rumours are that Nike have changed the name to “Industrial Blue”. Guess we will just need to wait and see when they release. Either way, it’s a massive cop for us. Image: @sneakerjamz

Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG ‘Elkins’/’Canary’

Named and designed after the High School Travis Scott graduated from, the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG ‘Elkins’/’Canary” are dividing fans across the scene. The bold colours are certainly different from the rappers usual earth tones, but we like the combination. In fact, it reminds us a lot of the ‘Laney’ Jordan colourways. Which, were also inspired by the High School Michael Jordan attended, where he was famously placed on the junior varsity team during his sophomore year. There are no official dates for this release yet, but we do know it will be sometime in the Summer of 2024. Image: @sneakerknockerzllc

Futura x Nike SB Dunk Low

Known for one of the rarest Nike SB Dunk collabs ever (the “D.U.N.K.L.E”), graffiti artist Futura has teamed up with Nike again this year. The collab will focus on the Nike SB sillhouete and features the artists iconic colourful spray paint design. Set to release sometime in Summer 2024, we already know this release is going to be a problem! Image: @jfgrails. Check out the ‘Early Bird Boys’ detailed in hand look below:

Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG ‘Black Olive’

The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG ‘Black Olive’ features a similar colourway to the womens ‘Olive’ release from 2023. However, this combination seems to be a lot more popular with fans. Travis is showing no sign of slowing down this year! This pair are expected to drop sometime in Fall 2024. Image: @jfgrails

Air Jordan 5 “Olive”

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is sub-buzz-7555-1703103440-1-1024x694.webp

It’s finally time for the Jordan 5 to get the recognition it deserves! Originally released in 2006, the Air Jordan 5 “Olive” is returning for the very first time. An exciting moment for lovers of this silhouette. The retro is expected to be as close to the OG as possible. As confirmed by Jordan Brand themselves on Nike SNKRS Live, the release date for this iconic pair is sometime in March 2024.

Stash x Nike Air Max 95 ‘Black’

In 2006, graffiti artist Stash teamed up with Nike for the Stash x Nike Air Max 95 ‘Black’, as part of the ‘Artist Series’. The pair sold out within seconds and are arguably one of the best Air Max 95s of all time. Fans of the 95 silhouette who missed out back then, finally have their chance to cop this incredible pair. Don’t get us wrong, we expect this release to be extremely limited and popular, so make sure you stay up to date with the latest sneaker news to make sure you’re ahead of the game. You don’t want to miss out on this special drop. We will let you all know when we hear anything!

J Balvin x Air Jordan 3 “Rio”

Following on from the huge success of the J Balvin x Air Jordan 3 ‘Medellín Sunset’ last year, Balvin is back with yet another Jordan 3 collab. This time featuring a black upper, with colourful sunset inspired accents on the midsole and heel, topped off with the classic Jordan 3 elephant print mudguards. There is little information surrounding a release date for the J Balvin x Air Jordan 3 ‘Rio’. However, we believe, like all the other pairs, these will be very popular! Follow us on Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok and Pinterest to stay up to date with the latest sneaker release dates as they are revealed. Image: overtimekicks

Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 Low “Home & Away”

As seen on the final episode of Full Size Run on Complex, the Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 Low looks absolutely incredible! The anticipated release date is 15th February 2024. However, based on the previous Trophy Room collaborations and back dooring rumours, we wouldn’t hold our breath on copping this pair. Image: Sérgio Santos/Complex

Air Jordan 11 ‘Columbia’

It’s not December without a Jordan 11 drop, and this year we are in for a treat! Originally released in 1996, then retro’d in 2001 and 2014, the Air Jordan 11 “Columbia” is returning in 2024. Although we are only in January, according to @zsneakerheads the pair has a release date of 14th December, and will be available in full family sizing. We can’t wait!

Bad Bunny x adidas Campus “Deep Brown”

If you don’t know who Bad Bunny is, you must have been living under a rock! Not only is he making massive waves in the music scene recently, he’s also collaborating with Adidas on their iconic ‘Campus’ sneaker. The Bad Bunny x adidas Campus “Deep Brown” features a suede upper with cream tan leather for the 3 striped branding, along with his signature “el ojo” logo in light pink on the tongue. The pair is set to drop in Spring 2024. Images: Level Shoes

Nike Air Max 1 ‘Powerwall BRS’ Big Bubble

There have been some rumours circulating surrounding this years anticipated Air Max drops, and we really hope they are true! Originally released in 2006 as part of the ‘Powerwall’ series, the Nike Air Max 1 ‘Powerwall BRS (Blue Ribbon Sports)’, is still to this day a grail for many Air Max enthusiasts. If this sneaker returns, there’s talk of it receiving the ‘Big Bubble’ treatment! There are no official images or sneak peeks of this pair so far, but they are rumoured to release in Fall 2024. Image is 2006 release.

Patta x Nike Air Max 1 ‘Chlorophyll’

According to several Air Max enthusiasts, the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 ‘Chlorophyll’ will see a re-release by Fall 2024. Again, one of the most sought after Air Max 1’s to ever drop. Similar to the ‘Powerwall BRS’, there are no official images or information surrounding this pair at the moment. However, we are remaining optimistic that this sneaker will come back! Image is 2009 release.

JJJJound x adidas Samba

Adidas has been making waves recently as the classic Samba silhouette gained huge popularity. The JJJJound x Adidas Samba ‘Off-White’ has been teased for a while now and 2024 seems to be the year we will finally see it! The pair is set to release sometime in March 2024. There will also be a ‘Core Black’ and ‘Mesa’ colourway to follow. We suggest you get saving now!

ShoeStack’s Debut at Sneakerness in London, alongside eBay, NBA 2K, Christian Louboutin and many more. 6 Nov 2023, 7:53 pm

Welcome back to the ShoeStack events blog series. In this edition, we revisit our debut at Sneakerness in London. Over 7,000 people gathered at The Truman Brewery for this premium sneaker, fashion, and lifestyle event hosted by The Evening Standard.

  • ShoeStack set-up at Sneakerness in London
  • ShoeStack LED stacks at Sneakerness

The Launch Party

Our team was privileged to join just 700 VIPs personally invited by The Evening Standard to the Sneakerness Launch Party at Café KOKO in Camden. It was a fantastic chance for brands and creators to connect before the event. Here’s a visual of the vibes below:

The Set-up

Exhibitors and sellers were allowed into the venue the day before the event to set up. The team absolutely smashed unloading the van and building the display. Adam (@adam_roberts) came through to help us set up and build fresh boxes for our display. He also brought some pairs from of his personal collection for us to display over the weekend.

The Main Event

Sneakerness is known for its unique blend of elements combining fashion, music, gaming, art, and sport. The event had many high-profile exhibitors catering to a wide variety of interests!

For instance, eBay challenged sneakerheads with their multi-sensory Authenticity Lab. NBA 2K collaborated with The Edit LDN for an exciting basketball tournament hosted by sports presenter Mo Mooncey. Also, Bandai Namco offered attendees an exclusive chance to try out the new Tekken 8 game before its official release!

For the Sneakerheads, NoTwoWays displayed their catalogue including some sample pairs and offered a sneak peek at the now-released Formula ‘Matter’ in our acrylic 360 crates. Meanwhile, Christian Louboutin promoted the launch of their new sneaker, ‘The Astro Loubi’ with Commonwealth Games gold medalist Jamell Anderson and Love Island star Ovie Soko hosting a basketball challenge.

Bernardo, our founder caught up with Callux at the NoTwoWays booth and played against Jamell at the Louboutin court. In addition, Chilly’s allowed visitors to customise their own water bottles with graffiti, Eastpak got creative and offered personalised bag designs, InstaX had the photography covered and Havana Club provided drinks and music, all creating an exciting vibrant atmosphere over the weekend.

Independent sellers also made their mark, offering a wide selection of sought after, rare, hyped and vintage sneakers. Others showcased their handmade bespoke shoes, clothing, rugs, candles, and more.

At the main stage, we saw panel talks, games and charity auctions hosted by creatives Mark (@nineteen.85), Jessy (@jessylaw) and Fabio (@fdfromthefuture), featuring guests such as Callux and Rockwell from NoTwoWays.

Showcasing History

Additionally, Dennis (@sneakerdenn) was given the opportunity to display some very rare and vintage pairs at the entrance of the event. We provided him with our acrylic 360 display crates and felt proud to see such unique pairs in our boxes to welcome collectors and enthusiasts on the day. If you haven’t checked out Dennis’s content already, you really should! His collection is insane.

Building a Strong Community

Participating in Sneakerness proved to be a game-changer for Shoestack. The event allowed us to connect with influential figures in the industry and build a network of invaluable contacts.

As Bernardo, shared his journey with The Hoxton Trend during an interview, it was a realisation of the brand’s progress. We are very grateful for the opportunity to connect and look forward to working together in the future.

We were also excited to show off our new branded logo wall, which became a focal point at our booth, allowing visitors to capture timeless memories. Franklin a.k.a (@kingoftrainers) came through and signed a pair of his Ellesse collaboration. We appreciate you coming down and can’t wait to catch up again! The community showed out all weekend and our team had some great conversations with everyone. A special shoutout to RV for stopping by, it was a pleasure to finally meet you!

Overall, the new wall not only served as a backdrop for countless photos, but also as a symbol of our commitment to creating lasting connections with our community. Shoutout to everyone who came by and had a chat, we really enjoyed meeting you all!

Return of the Mystery Bags

Exclusive to events, our favoured mystery bags stirred excitement among attendees over the weekend. Priced at just £60, with a guaranteed minimum RRP of £80 and the possibility of landing a top prize worth £500+ in retail value, they kept us very busy over the weekend. Congratulations to everyone who took part, we love seeing all your reactions and look forward to seeing your stacks!

A Bright Future Ahead

As we reflect on our remarkable journey at Sneakerness, we are grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such a prestigious event. For us, being a part of Sneakerness was a milestone in our journey as a brand. The event truly put Shoestack on the map, helping us establish valuable connections within the industry. Unboxing the Sneaker Culture: ShoeStack’s year so far at sneaker festivals in the UK. 21 Jul 2023, 9:37 am

Welcome to ShoeStack’s event blog, where we share our exciting experiences at various sneaker conventions throughout the year. Sneaker festivals provide a space for vendors and attendees to immerse themselves in a vibrant marketplace, showcasing and acquiring some of the most sought-after footwear in the game! Join us as we reflect on ShoeStack’s year so far, highlighting memorable moments and sharing our adventures yet to come.

SneakerZone in Leeds: A Momentous Debut

Our first event of the year took us to SneakerZone in Leeds, and it was an absolute blast! The atmosphere was electric, with sneakerheads from all over the UK and Europe gathering to celebrate their shared passion for sneakers.

We received a visit from under 18’s Manchester United Defender, Sam Murray. We were thrilled when he stopped by our table and expressed his interest in our products. Sam even picked up some of our popular sound-activated LED display crates!

English television presenter, football pundit, and former professional footballer, Jermaine Jenas was at the event filming for a Channel 4 documentary and captured the essence of the event through interviews with various sneaker enthusiasts and experts. To our delight, he chose to interview our friends Yorkshire Trainers, right in front of our stylish white LED display crates!

  • Sam Murray with our sound activated LED display crates.
  • Jermaine Jenas with Yorkshire Trainers

The Crepe City Chronicles

In March, ShoeStack participated in the first Crepe City of the year in Manchester. Crepe City is a dynamic event that celebrates sneaker culture in all its glory. Our display crates showcased an array of highly coveted sneakers; from the Tiffany & Co x Nike Air Force 1 collaboration to Off-White Nike’s, Sean Wotherspoon’s, and Atmos Elephant Air Max 1’s. Captivating the attention of attendees and collectors. It was an opportunity to connect with sneaker enthusiasts and be a part of the vibrant sneaker community in Manchester.

Classics Aren’t Made Overnight!

Following the success of Crepe City Manchester, ShoeStack made its presence felt at Crepe City London in May! We invited well-known YouTuber and NoTwoWays founder, Callum McGinley (Callux), along with footwear designers Rockwell Princely and Sam Awoyemi, to help unveil their highly anticipated new sneaker the ‘Formula’.

Amidst the buzz of sneaker enthusiasts and collectors, Callux found himself constantly swarmed by fans eager to catch a glimpse of the new sneaker and share a moment with the popular content creator.

As a proud NoTwoWays supporter, ShoeStack showcased the ‘Formula’ sneaker in our crystal-clear acrylic 360 display crates, allowing the crowds to appreciate every detail of this very nice pair.

We had the privilege of having Callum, Rockwell, and Sam sign a pair of the new sneakers for ShoeStack. We will proudly display this pair at our future shows, serving as a constant reminder of this special day.

This specific event will forever hold a special place in our hearts, as we feel it encompassed the true essence of collaboration, creativity, and community.

Stackable Shoe Boxes – Store Your Shoe Collection Right in 2023. 3 Jan 2023, 1:25 pm

If you’re a sneakerhead or just someone who takes pride in their shoe collection, you know the importance of not only keeping your shoes organized but also finding a way to display them that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. While there are various ways to store your shoes, such as traditional shoe boxes or hanging shoe organizers, stackable shoe boxes with magnetic doors offer the best solution for displaying your collection.

One of the main benefits of stackable shoe boxes is their space-saving design. Traditional shoe boxes can take up a lot of room, especially if you have a large collection. Stackable shoe boxes, on the other hand, allow you to vertically store your shoes, maximizing the use of space in your closet or storage area. This is especially useful for those who live in small apartments or have limited storage space.

Another advantage of stackable shoe boxes is their clear acrylic front. With traditional shoe boxes, it can be difficult to see what shoes are inside without opening the box and rummaging through them. This not only takes time but can also lead to disorganization if the boxes are not properly closed after searching for a specific pair of shoes. Stackable shoe boxes, on the other hand, allow you to easily see what shoes are inside, making it easier to find the pair you’re looking for and reducing the risk of disorganization.

The magnetic doors on stackable shoe boxes add an extra level of convenience and functionality. These doors allow you to easily open and close the boxes without having to use any additional closures, such as Velcro or zippers. This not only makes it easier to access your shoes but also helps to keep them protected from dust and dirt.

In addition to their practicality, stackable shoe boxes with magnetic doors are also a stylish way to display your shoe collection. The various different design options from crystal clear acrylic 360 crates to jet black side view crates, making it easy to show off your collection to friends or simply admire them yourself. The sleek and modern design of the boxes also adds a touch of sophistication to your storage solution.

Stackable shoe boxes with magnetic doors are also durable and long-lasting, making them a worthwhile investment. The clear plastic material is resistant to cracks and breaks, ensuring that your boxes will remain in good condition for years to come. The magnetic doors also provide a secure closure, preventing your shoes from falling out or getting damaged.

In conclusion, stackable shoe boxes with magnetic doors are the best way to display and store your shoe collection. Their space-saving design, clear plastic construction, and convenient magnetic doors make them a practical and stylish solution. They are also durable and long-lasting, making them a worthwhile investment for any sneakerhead or shoe enthusiast.

The Benefits of storing your shoes in display boxes 24 Dec 2022, 9:05 pm

  1. Easy access: Drop front shoe boxes have a hinged lid that opens up, allowing you to easily access and remove your shoes without having to take the entire box off the shelf or out of the closet. This can be especially convenient if you have a large collection of shoes and don’t want to have to dig through multiple boxes to find the pair you’re looking for.
  2. Protection: Storing your shoes in a shoe box can help protect them from dust, dirt, and other external elements that can cause wear and tear. Drop front shoe boxes in particular can provide extra protection because the hinged lid covers the opening and helps keep the contents of the box clean and protected.
  3. Space-saving: Shoe boxes can help you save space in your closet or storage area by allowing you to stack them on top of each other. Drop front shoe boxes are especially helpful in this regard because you can easily see and access the contents of the box without having to remove it from the stack.
  4. Organization: Storing your shoes in drop front shoe boxes can help you keep your closet or storage area organized and tidy. You can easily see which shoes are in each box and quickly grab the pair you need, rather than having to search through piles of shoes.

Overall, drop front shoe boxes are a convenient and effective way to store and protect your shoes, and can help keep your closet or storage area organized and clutter-free.

Here at ShoeStack we offer an ever expanding range of shoe storage, from our classic clear or black, front or side view boxes or our new LED Shoe Boxes and our acrylic 360 shoe box range! Check out our shoe storage category below for more details.

Do Crease Protectors Work? 24 Dec 2022, 8:50 pm

Crease protectors are designed to prevent creases from forming on the toe box of sneakers, particularly those made from leather or other materials that are prone to creasing. These protectors are typically made from a flexible material, such as silicone or rubber, and are placed inside the shoe to help maintain the shape of the toe box and prevent creases from forming.

Some people believe that crease protectors can be effective in preventing creases from forming on sneakers, especially if they are used regularly and properly. However, it’s important to note that crease protectors may not work for all shoes or for all types of wear. For example, if you wear your sneakers frequently and put a lot of stress on the toe box, crease protectors may not be able to completely prevent creasing.

Additionally, it’s worth noting that crease preventers may not be necessary for all sneakers. Some sneakers are designed to crease naturally as they are worn, and creasing may be considered a natural part of the aging process for these shoes.

In general, crease protectors may be helpful for preserving the appearance of certain types of sneakers, but they may not work for all shoes or for all types of wear. It’s always a good idea to follow the manufacturer’s recommendations for caring for your shoes, and to consider factors such as the type of material and the amount of wear and tear your shoes will receive when deciding whether crease protectors are necessary.

  • Help prevent creases from forming on the toe box of sneakers, particularly those made from leather or other materials that are prone to creasing
  • Maintain the shape of the toe box and preserve the appearance of the sneakers
  • Protect the material of the sneakers and extend their lifespan
  • May be especially useful for preserving the appearance of sneakers that are worn infrequently or for special occasions
  • Easy to use and can be removed when not needed

Is the Sean Wotherspoon Nike Air Max 1/97 the sneaker that got away for you? 27 Oct 2022, 5:04 pm

This week, we chat to content creator Erkin Hassan (@erkinhassan) about his YouTube channel, grails, sneaker memories and find out his favourite pair of the year so far.

Tell us who you are and what you do?

I’m Erkin Hassan aka The Life Of A Broski and I’m a sneaker enthusiast. I make content
on shoes and fashion mostly on YouTube and IG
.

How did you get into sneakers?

I remember growing up admiring my older brother and sister’s Air Max 1s, 90s, Huaraches Air Force’s etc. They were a big influence on becoming passionate about sneakers. Always having a fresh pair, especially the OG colourways of the Air Max 1s and 90s. I was mesmerised seeing them as a kid.

Do you remember your first pair?

I can’t remember my first ever pair, but there were a couple that definitely stand out;

  • Reebok Classic – navy leather pair. Getting them as a kid from JJB sports (They didn’t last long after playing football in them)
  • Nike Air Max BW – black & silver. This was my first ever Air Max.
  • Nike Air Trainer Huarache – White/black/baby blue.

“Huaraches were the Jordan’s of our time growing up.”

Do you have a favourite pair in your collection?

Nike Air Max 90 Infrared is my favourite sneaker of all time and I’m proud to say I snapped up the recent retro! They only come out on special occasions.

What pair do you wish would drop again?

Nike Air Max 97/1 Sean Wotherspoon (I can always dream). One of my recent holy grails. Amazing execution on 2 iconic shoes blended together.

Do you have a sneaker pet peeve?

Where do I start?! The one that stands out mostly to me, has to be people wearing the tags on shoes that come as collectables in the box. THEY BELONG IN THE BOX!!

What is your favourite ShoeStack product and why?

Can I only pick one? Haha it’s tough, but has to be the Sound Activated LED shoe display boxes The best way for me, to show off and protect your shoes at home.

What is your favourite sneaker brand and silhouette?

New Balance are slowly becoming my favourite brand, but I’ll always be a Nike kid at heart. The Air Max 90 Infrared is my favourite shoe of all time. One of the OGs for sure!

What would be your dream sneaker collab?

Would love to see ALD/Joe Fresh Goods work on a Nike silhouette. Preferably the Air Max 1/90. They’ve done some amazing work with New Balance.

Pair of the year so far?

Nike Air Max 1 Concepts Heavy. The most complimented shoe I’ve worn this year by far. Extremely loud shoe, but they’ve always turned heads the moment I wore them. Stands out for all the right reasons for me!

What’s next for you on your sneaker journey? Anything upcoming you want to tell us about before you go?

A lot more sneaker content on my YouTube: The Life of A Broski. Hopefully see you guys at Crepe City in November too!

Would you cop a Nike Air Jordan x Hugo Boss collab? This sneakerhead would! 20 Oct 2022, 5:47 pm

To kick off our Community Stack ‘Em Series, we chat to Marketing Director Jose Lok (@snkr_lok) about his collection, funny sneaker memories and find out his dream sneaker collaboration.

Tell us who you are and what you do?

My name is Jose Lok and I’m a 46yr old who behaves like he was 18 again. Married with a 5yr old son and currently a Marketing Director in the Electronics Industry.

Born and bred in Cardiff, staunch follower and season ticket holder of Cardiff City FC, residing in North Hampshire. Besides collection sneakers, I’m a big fan of MMA and coach Under 6/7s rugby.

How did you get into sneakers?

It began when I started playing basketball around the age of 15 – we took it fairly seriously back then, representing one of the local clubs in Cardiff, the local Leisure Centre team as well as for the School/College.

I was watching the NBA on TV, more because my brother was obsessed with the Knicks at the time around the late 80s and I couldn’t support the same team as my brother, so I chose the Chicago Bulls. I remember when they drafted Scottie Pippen and Horace Grant and they started to become far more competitive.

My basketball mates were supporting teams like the Lakers and the Celtics at the time, so I used to get teased for supporting the Bulls… until the 1990 season.

Do you remember your first pair?

This leads me on to my first ever pair of Air Jordan sneakers – where it all began – the Air Jordan 5 Fire Reds.

“I’ve actually commissioned a company called The Brick People to create a replica shoe, out of Lego, to commemorate the occasion.”

There’s a sad and funny story to this shoe though as I never actually got to wear it on the court (something this current generation wont be able to comprehend, but I bought Jordan sneaks to wear ON THE COURT) or even out around town.

Before the internet, mobile phones etc, mates would just turn up at your house to see if you wanted to hang out. One day, two of my besties turned up to drag me out of the house, to which I took as an opportunity to show off my new pair of AJs. Unbeknownst to me, they had planned to do our GCSE coursework that day – which involved measuring the speed of river flow.

Clearly, I wasn’t having any part of that and said, if they wanted to get into the river, I will happily stand on the bank and write down the measurements. This worked out well for us, till the final reading of the day to which we had to traipse through a field full of cowpats to get to – I was treading as if I was traversing through a minefield.

When it was done, the two lads started hurtling across the field, yelling for me to follow them as quickly whilst laughing hysterically – of course, i was not falling for that. It was when they dived over the fence and started screaming with more urgency and pointing to my right that i realised something was amiss. Turning my head, i could see from the far side of the field, what looked like a wild eyed demon horse charging towards me with a full herd of friesian cows behind it – a full on stampede was heading my way... I ran for my life. Suffice to say, i must’ve hit every single manure bomb along the way.

When I got home, I frantically tried to clean my new shoes, but to no avail and they were permanently stained green. I never wore them again and ended up giving them away

What’s your favourite pair in your collection?

It should be my Fire Red 5s (2020), but I am a sucker for the colour purple so I cant decide if its the Canyon Purple 4s or the Dark Iris 3s right now. Although, I do have affection for my Curry Phat Low Ones due to their rarity and style.

What pair do you wish would drop again?

Not that bothered to be honest. OGs are great……..when they are OG.

What is your favourite ShoeStack product and why?

The sound activated LED stacks – the option of cool or warm light is a nice touch and the ability to connect on top with one plug is a good move too.

What’s your favourite sneaker brand and silhouette?

Clearly the Air Jordan collection for me and I’m a big fan of the 3s, 4s and 5s

What would be your dream sneaker collaboration?

Almost everything I wear, whether for the office or casual happens to be Hugo Boss. No idea how a collab with AJs would actually or ever work – but that would suit me fine.

Pair of the year so far?

Has to be the Canyon Purple 4s for the quality and unusual nature of the material.

Do you have a sneaker pet peeve?

I don’t think i am that emotionally attached that something about a pair of sneakers would ruin my day.

What’s next for you on your sneaker journey? Anything upcoming you want to tell us about before you go?

I need to offload some of my collection to make room for any more additions, as i simply have no more room – so unless something significant releases, I will be quiet on the new additions front.

Saying that – the Chicago 1s and 2s are due out later this year aren’t they 🙂

As aforementioned, I have the Lego shoe to show you guys soon – think I need to get one more LED stack to house them in.
